KeyStart – Privacy Policy

KeyStart is a music utility app that generates tones and chords locally on your device. We designed the app to respect your privacy. The app does not collect, store, sell, share, or transmit personal data.

• Personal Information: We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, contact lists, photos, or any other personally identifiable information.
• Usage Analytics: We do not use analytics SDKs or logs that identify users.
• Location: We do not access or collect location data.
• Device Identifiers: We do not collect advertising identifiers (IDFA/GAID) or any persistent device identifiers.
• Audio Recordings/Microphone: The app does not record audio; it only generates tones for playback.
• Network/Data Transmission: The app does not send any data to our servers or third parties. There is no backend service.

3. On-Device Processing

All tone generation and playback occur entirely on-device using system audio APIs (Android AudioTrack / iOS AVAudioEngine). No audio or interaction data leaves your device.

4. Permissions

• Android: The app runs without special runtime permissions. It uses the system audio output only.
• iOS: The app uses system audio output only and does not request microphone, camera, location, or other sensitive permissions.

5. Children’s Privacy

The app is suitable for general audiences. Because we do not collect any personal data, we do not knowingly collect information from children under any age threshold (including under 13/16 as applicable by region).

6. Third Parties and SDKs

The app does not include third‑party advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or trackers. We do not share data with third parties.

7. Data Security

Because the app does not collect or store personal data, there is no personal data at risk. All functionality runs locally on your device.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we change the app in a way that affects privacy (for example, adding online features or analytics), we will update this policy and the app listing. The latest version will always be available within the app repository and app store listing pages.
